Phil Barker is the author of The Revolution of Man, a manifesto for a new masculinity, a manhood that is positive, healthy and safe. As a regular commentator and columnist on men’s issues, he came to see the “performance of being a man, from the moment we open our eyes to our last breath, is damaging us and those around us.”

Phil Barker (born 5 November 1932) is one of the major figures in the development of the modern hobby of tabletop wargaming, particularly that of ancient warfare, and is a co-founder of the Wargames Research Group. In the 1960s he was a methods engineer at British Leyland.
